How to have a dog and a great backyard too!

Dogs digging up the garden is one of the most common problems faced by pet owners. The solution is multi-faceted: it's about looking at the dog itself - what exercise it gets, why it digs, how to change it's habits - as well as looking at the design of the garden.

This event brings together the perfect team: Karen Phillips, an expert on dog behaviour and Sue McDougall, a horticulturalist.

Sue will talk about how to plan a garden that is both beautiful and dog-proof, how to repair any damage, and which plants are poisonous to dogs.

Karen will explain why dogs develop bad habits such as becoming destructive in the garden, and what can be done to change that behaviour.

To add to the fun, her delightful border collie Riot will show off a few of his fabulous tricks.

This event is proudly sponsored by Better Pets and Gardens.
