$1,200 Duffy Primary School to complete the kids' community garden.

$1,200 Cooma Community Garden for a 'Lawns to Lunch' demonstration garden.

$1,000 SLC Organic Garden, Canberra for a project integrating chickens in the garden.

$1,000 Cobargo Preschool for a vegetable and wild garden.

$600 Illawarra In Home Support, Hindmarsh Park for a Sensory Garden.

NORTHERN NSW

$1,800 The Pocket Public School, Billinudgel for a demonstration productive and sustainable garden to encourage the growing and preparation of healthy food.

$1,200 Friends of Tourianda, Bingara to develop a garden for community use at the Aged Care facility.

$1,000 Rahamim Ecological Learning Community, Bathurst for trees and shrubs on the demonstration site for their 'Saving the planet one street at a time' project.

$1,000 Hunter Regional Botanic Gardens, Heatherbrae for interpretative signage in the new solar-heated Orchid House.

QUEENSLAND

$3,000 Jerona Citizens Association for a community garden to enhance the Jerona Township Community Hall.

$3,000 New Farm State School P & C to preserve several stressed 80-year-old fig trees in the grounds of the 1901 school.

$1,000 Burnie Brae (Chermside and District Senior Citizens Centre) for raised beds and composting bays to increase the scope for plant diversity including edible plants.

$1,000 Zonta Club of Whitsundays for two kitchen gardens at St Catherine's Primary School to promote interest in growing, cooking and eating vegetables.

$1,000 Gordonvale Community Kindergarten Association for composting systems and a worm farm to encourage waste reduction and recycling.

$1,000 Cleveland State School for a native garden to be used as an outdoor classroom as well as a restful, shady area for local elderly residents.

TASMANIA

$5,000 Moonah Primary School for a potting shed and equipment for the school kitchen garden, Tasmania's first Stephanie Alexander demonstration kitchen garden.

SOUTH AUSTRALIA

$3,000 Old Mt Gambier Gaol Community Garden for rainwater storage tanks to enable the garden to become self-sustainable.

$1,000 Diamond House, Woodville Park to build a sensory garden for people with mental health issues.

$1,000 Parndana Campus of Kangaroo Island Community Education for an edible garden to be built by Year 8 and 9 students.

NORTHERN TERRITORY

$1,500 Lakeside Drive Community Garden, Darwin for a shade shelter for community organisations, CDU staff and students.

$1,500 St Johns College, Darwin for a tree planting project to provide shade for the Indigenous students and visitors.

WESTERN AUSTRALIA

$1,000 Bridgetown High School for a sustainable Indigenous Interpretative Garden, with Bush Tucker and Bush Medicine plants.

$1,000 Narambeen Lions Club for a native garden around the Town Clock, focussing on drought-tolerant and bird-attracting plants.

$1,000 Quairading Hospital for the purchase of plants for a waterwise sustainable garden for the patients.

$1,000 Boddington Old School Community Centre for the purchase of three raised garden beds.

$1,000 Victoria Park Community Garden for the purchase of heritage/heirloom food plants and reticulation equipment.
